30th June, 2007. 3:01 pm. Long Overdue Update
So I really just don't have that much to say. I realize that I havn't updated this thing in a really long time, but that's because LJ is where I go when I am pissed off or sad about something and need to rant. Everything in my life is utterly amazing right now. I am the happiest that I have ever been. I just can't believe everything that has happened. It seems almost too good to be true. Like, one day soon I am going to wake up and be stuck in the same semi-content state that I was in for so long when I just didn't really accomplish anything. Maybe all of my patient waiting and hard work to be the best person I can be is finally paying off. Maybe I just finally started to live my life to the fullest. I don't know what it is or what I did to deserve this, but I thank God for it every day, and I wish so much for all of you out there who care so much about me to get to experience all of the same wonderful things. I don't think that there is a single area of my life that is not above my expectations right now. Everything that I hoped to accomplish has already happened and many have gone above and beyond. To all of the people who have and continue to contribute to my happiness... thank you so much! I love you all so much. Thank you for always being there for me and helping me with all of the obstacles that I have had to face. I don't know how often I will update this thing anymore. When I look back through all of my past entries all I see is sadness and mindless ranting about things that just even matter all anymore. I don't want to use LJ for that anymore. Maybe I will create a new one and just fill it with happy thoughts. I don't know. Maybe I will abandon it all together. I just don't need a place to cry, bitch, and moan anymore. So for now... so long LiveJournal. Thank you for helping me, but I simply have no reason for you anymore. There are better things out there... :)
29th March, 2007. 12:16 am. I Can't Believe It...
So I just completely messed up everything I have been working on over the past 3 weeks playing Resident Evil 4. I beat it yesterday and have since been playing through the game a second time with all of my super awesome weapons from the last time. It's been really fun being able to kill with two shots of my handgun. Well tonight I started Separate Ways, which is where you get to play through several chapters of the games as this chick Ada as she assists Leon. When I went to save this game out of pure habit I wrote it over my other game! x_x I don't know how the game even allowed this since they are two entirely different games, but it did. So now all of my hard earned weapons and my game are gone. Kapoot. Vanished. Forever. I am so pissed at myself that I don't know what to do. Should I completely start over again? That would just suck. But I honestly love this game! I could probably beat it again like this in two weeks, it just seriously pisses me off so bad! I don't want to play the beginning with just the crappy handgun! F***! DAMN IT ALL TO HELL! Well, maybe it's a sign that I need to start on Devil May Cry. This just really makes me so mad! I don't know what I will do. I asked Alex if he would bring me his memory card so I could copy his file and play with his weapons. I don't know if he will. He kinda half felt sorry for me and half laughed at me. He may not want to help me so much because he thinks I should get it back on my own or some shit. I don't know if I'd even feel good playing his game. It wouldn't be the same for sure. I must think about this tonight. Do I want to just copy his file and play around for a bit? Or do I want to spend days (probably weeks) earning it all back myself? Maybe I should just move on to Devil May Cry, beat it, and then come back and play RE4. Perhaps I would feel more inclined to play it again from the beginning if I took a good long break from it. *sigh* This really does suck. I am so mad right now...

27th March, 2007. 3:53 pm. Prepare For a Totally Nerdyness Overload!
Ok... so, yesterday I beat Zelda: Twilight Princess! ^^ It rocked! After playing the game for a total of 50 hours I finally reached the epic final battle with Ganon. It was pretty sweet. The only disappointment was the fact that it really wasn't that hard of a final boss. I had a total of 16 hearts, 3 fairies, and some Great Fairy's Tears, which heal you completely and give you an attack boost. I didn't use any of that! Over the course of the first 3 stages of the fight I lost a total of 5 hearts. When the final part began I smashed some pots along the sidelines, found a fairy, and had a full life. I don't think the final boss took more than maybe one heart from me. It was really pretty easy once you figured out what to do. Nevertheless, the battles were epic. I would say (just because of the difficulty level) that the final boss of Ocarina of Time was better, but this one topped Majora's Mask and Wind Waker's final bosses. Anyway, another Zelda game goes down in history.
Today I picked up Resident Evil 4 again with the intention of getting a little closer to the end. Umm... finished the game! It was awesome. I have to honestly say that it is now in my top five favorite games of all time along with Ocarina, Twilight Princess, Shadow of the Colossus, and Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (or possibly Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie). If someone asked me straight up which five games they should play before they die, those would be them. At least, as far as hard-core action-adventure games go. Anyway, the game kicked major ass. So now I am going to play it through again so that I can get some of the badass unlockable weapons like the infinite rocket launcher and the Chicago Typewriter (unlimited gangster machine gun). It's going to be even sweeter the second time around! ^^
This weekend I found a boxed-set of all three Devil May Cry games for $30 which I happily bought under the recommendations of two of my hard-core gamer buddies. That's going to be sweet. Hopefully I will get the chance to pop one of them in later this week. Ahh... video games. What would I do without you?
Oh! Check out my result from the "Would Leon S. Kennedy Date You?" quiz I took this morning!
Am I awesome or what??? ^^

28th February, 2007. 5:42 pm. and more questions!
1] Is there someone who you like/love at the moment?
for sure ^^
2] Does that someone know that you like/love them?
hmm... I'm not so sure at the moment. They should, but that doesn't mean that they do. Haha!
3] What is your all-time favorite romance movie?
While You Were Sleeping
4] How many times can you honestly say you've been in love?
uhh... not sure that I really have yet. At least, not seriously.
5] Do you believe that everyone has a soul-mate?
call me old-fashioned, but yes. I firmly believe that there is someone out there for everyone who wants it and who can open their eyes and see it.
6] Do you think that you should put your friends first or your bf/gf?
Ack. I suppose the reason why you date someone is because they are #1
in your book right? However, friends are always important.
7] Have you ever had your heart broken?
*nod* Who hasn't?
8] What do you think about long-distance relationships?
that they are painful and difficult but can work if they are worked at.
9] Your thoughts on online relationships?
I don't think you can honestly have a good relationship with someone without ever seeing them in person at some point, but I suppose it can be done.
10] Would you rather date someone five years older or five years younger?
hmm.. since I don't really want to date a 14-year-old, I would definately have to say older! lol!
11] Hmm... this question seems to be missing. o.O
12] Do you believe the statement, "Once a cheater always a cheater."?
I think that cheating is very wrong, but I also believe that people can change their ways. Although, if I was ever cheated on I don't think I would want to see that person again for a really really long time.
13] How many kids do you want to have?
2 or 3

lol! I guess not since none of them have ever amounted to anything yet. Still working on that though.
15] What is your favorite color(s)?
16] What are your views on gay marriage?
I honestly believe that marriage is and should be only between a man and a woman, but that gay couples should be able to have more rights and freedoms without having to actually get married. This was a really random question and it's hard to answer it properly like this. >.<
17] Do you believe you truly only love once?
hmm... not sure about that one.
18] Imagine you're 79 & your spouse just died. Would you re-marry?
if I'm 79? No, I don't believe I would.

Yes, I'd like to believe that there is a certain person out there right now who is thinking of me in that way. That would sure make things easier wouldn't it? lol! I feel like I'm speaking in riddles a little bit. Sorry about that! XD

23rd February, 2007. 11:48 am. Video Games are the Shit!
Dude. What would I do without video games? Haha! There are so many amazing ones out right now and I just don't have the time to blow on them like I used to. That makes me want to cry. I have until about a week ago been playing a little game called The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and I must say... it is soooo AMAZING! I am currently on dungeon 7 of 9 and am taking a break from it because it just got really hard all of a sudden and I need like, a whole weekend to sit there and beat the thing. I must say though, Nintendo did not let me down. They knew that Zelda games are my absolute favorites and they gave me the best one yet! Of course, I have been playing it on the Game Cube and not on the Wii. We do own a Wii, and my brothers bought TP for it, but I just don't like playing Zelda that way. Waggling the Wiimote to swing your sword, and pointing at the screen to shoot the bow and hookshot just doesn't do it for me. I prefer aiming with the joystick and button-smashing to kill shit just as I have always played Zelda. One day I will play the game on the Wii, but not for a while yet. On Wednesday I put down $20 and purchased Resident Evil 4 for the PS2. It's so much freaking fun! I'm not a fan of shooter games hardly at all, but this one is simply amazing! The graphics are some of the best I've ever seen and it's just a really well made game. I'm really looking forward to playing it all the way through. ^^ After that I plan to finish Okami and play through Shadow of the Colossus again. That game was freaking gorgeous and amazing to play. So as you can see I have a lot of fun stuff on my plate right now. Haha! Ok then, I guess that's it for my random video game rant. There be zombies that need killing! Bwa hahahaha!
9th October, 2006. 7:00 pm. Aaaannd... More Fillers!!!
Ya know what really grinds my gears? (I'm quoting Family Guy from last night >.<) When you think something is going to be really awesome and then it ends up completely letting you down. That's how I felt today when I downloaded the Naruto "90 Minute Special Episode" that was supposed to end the long line of filler episodes. *sigh* It was 60, not 90!, minutes of more filler that had nothing at all to do with the show... -_- Yay Naruto!
6th October, 2006. 12:43 pm. Fall Break has Arrived!
Woot! Fall Break is here at last! Really, I don't think it could've come at a better time! I just had a bunch of tests and was getting really fed up with school so it's great to get a break from it all. ^^
Got in to Lafayette Wednesday night and chilled at home with the fam. I havn't seen them in a few weeks so it was a nice visit. Yesterday morning my mom and I went shopping for a while then I went over to the Comeaux Band rehearsal. Mr. Tim had asked me if I could help out while I am in town since they are running low on instructors and the kids have recently learned a bunch of new drill. It was super hot and I had no idea what was going on the show because I hadn't been there when they had learned any of this new stuff, but it was fun anyway. I always enjoy working with and talking to the kids. ^^ I even got to see Lee for a few minutes when she came by to drop of Maddie's camel pack! Woot! Hahaha! After that, my parents and I went eat at Bonefish! YUM! It's totally become my favorite place to eat. The food is always competely delicious and we always get one of Alex Hays' tables, which makes it extra fun! Actually, Alex was filling in last night and busing tables so we couldn't get him as a waiter. As it turned out, they wern't that busy last night so he was able to come by and talk to us way more than usual between busing tables. It was fun. ^^
Tonight is Comeaux's homecoming game so you know I'll be hitting that one up! I can't wait to see the show again with the kids in their uniforms! I love this year's show! The music is amazing, and the drill is super difficult and just awesome! Kyle LeBoeuf asked me to go eat with him before the game. o.O How fun! I love Kyle! He's so cute and sweet. It should be a fun time hanging out with him tonight. Should I consider it a date?! Ahh! Hahahaha! That's really funny! A date with Kyle LeBoeuf! XD
8th September, 2006. 3:59 pm. Long Time No Post! :)
Oooooooh LiveJournal! *sigh* How long has it been? I don't even know if anyone else keeps up with their's anymore or if anyone looks at mine, but I have decided to do my best to keep this up again. It used to be fun. Haha! ^^
Soo... today is friday! Woot! Not much going on though, which explains why I am sitting here typing this. I have four freaking classes on Mon, Wed, and Fri! >.< Ah! It sucks. I have economics 2030 at 8:30, Prob&Stat at 9:30 (both in CEBA!), Physics 1100 (Physics for babies) at 11:30, and finally Math 2065 (Diff Eq) at 2:30. x_x On Tues and Thurs I only have one class, Intro to Electrical Engineering, from 12:00 to 1:30. What a messed up schedule! Ah!
Out of 5 classes, 3 of my teachers are foreign. I have a shy little Romanian lady for Econ, a crazy Tai guy who runs around and is just way to happy about math for Prob&Stat, and a contantly smiling crazy Russian named (get this!) Boris for Diff Eq! O.O Thankfully, I don't have any trouble understanding any of them, but I must say that they are quite an interesting group. ^^
In other news, that crazy Canadian Justin Roberts came to visit me again! This is the second Wednesday in a row that he has come over. Fun times, fun times! Actually, I worry that I am boring him since there arn't any fun parties or things on Wed nights usually. Despite all of this he says he wants to come again soon. I feel so special! Hahaha! XD
Anyway, I guess that is all I wanted to say for this first entry of the new semester. Hopefully you will see much more of me on here in the days to come. Oh! What do you think of the new layout? Cute eh? ^^
QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Holy fucknuggets im drunk?!" - Alex Hays in a text message at 12:33 a.m. this morning (Hooray for drunken text messaging!)
12th May, 2006. 9:49 am. Finals Week...
Back A Page
Ok... three down and one to go! ^^ Feels good! I just took my Chemistry 1202 final at 7:30 this morning. It sucked. I think I may have made a C without whatever curve the chemistry department decides to bestow upon us. Son of a bitch. Whatever. All I need is a C to pass the class and because all of my other grades will *ahem* should be As and Bs with nothing lower than a B, I can totally put up with one C in my life.
My Calculus II final was at 7:30 in the morning on Tuesday. I know. Didn't I get stuck with some craptacular times? x_x I made a freaking 90 on it!!!! The closest test grade I made the whole semester in there was an 82! What is my deal?! I can't do the individual tests but when I have to do it all at once I become the freaking calculus god! Ha ha ha! ^^ Sorry if I sound a bit braggy... I'm just really pleased with myself on that one. Even with my stupendous final grade, I have made an 83 in the class. Ha ha! Whatever. I am really pleased with that.
So.... Muppet final was yesterday at 3:00 in the afternoon. Muppet = treehugging, screaming-liberal, political correctness, hippie geography teacher. >.< Her final was extremely easy and with the 12 bonus points I earned... HAHAHAHA! F U MUPPET! I should end up with an A in there. My last final is at 10:30 tomorrow morning and is Western Civ. If I make an A on that final I will make an A in the class, so I should probably get off of this thing and start studying. Heh. Damn jHop. You have fried my brain with your chemistry of the devil! After the history exam I am OUT OF HERE!!!! WOOOO! I'm soooo excited about the summer! I'm gonna get a job, (don't ask me what that will be just yet, lol) lay around the pool, watch movies, and see all of my buddies again! ^^ Finals are almost over... and it's time to PARTAY!!!
